Our Winter Co-ed Volleyball program is for 2nd – 12th** grade (Fall 2024). Professional training is provided by our partner, Resilient Volleyball Club.
You can BRING YOUR OWN TEAM!*
*If a team has only 7-8 players, CFSA may additional player/players to make a complete roster of nine (9) players
There will be 8 practices and 6 games which will take place at either:
Sun Automotive Sports Complex (The Den)17120 House & Hahl Rd, Cypress, TX 77433 OR
CFISD Middle School Gyms (TBD)
REGISTRATION DATES: Regular Registration - October 11 – November 13, 2024
Late Registration - November 14th - 15th by on-line waitlist only. If not spot is available, you will be contacted and 100% refunded.
You cannot register with limitations on days you can practice. Practices days/times are up to your parent volunteer coach.
SEASON DATES:
No assessments will be held for the winter season
January 6, 2025 - Coaches Clinic: 6:00-7:30pm for all New and Returning Coaches (location TBD)
Week of January 6th - Practices begin (2 practices the first week)
Week of January 13th - Games begin (one(1) practice, one(1) game per week)
Week of February 24th - Season concludes with playoffs for top teams
Practice Days: Practices may be Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, or Thursday
Game Days: Thursday or Friday
Game Days/Schedules will be e-mailed to coaches the week of December 30th

*A player may play up one year, but they cannot play down a year.
GAME DAYS/SCHEDULES: Game Days: Thursday or Friday between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Game Schedules are to be published the week of January 6, 2025.
PRACTICE SCHEDULES: Practice Days/Times are all SELECTED by the volunteer head coach assigned to your player’s team after registration, which will typically be weekday evenings between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. There will be one game and one practice per week. You cannot register with limitations on days you can practice.
NOTIFICATION OF TEAM ASSIGNMENT: After registration closes, teams will be formed, and coaches assigned. Teams consist of 7-9 players. Once the coaches’ background checks have been completed, rosters will be released to your player’s coach who will reach out to you via e-mail, so please watch the e-mail listed in your child’s profile.
FRIEND/COACH REQUEST: You can request a friend or coach during the summer/fall/winter seasons, but CFSA cannot guarantee specific placement. The Volleyball Committee will do their best to accommodate, but in some cases, it is not possible.
COACHES REGISTRATION: Please consider volunteering to coach or help coach your child’s team! You can register as a Coach or Assistant Coach at the same time you register your child! CFSA is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization. Everyone from the President of our board, board members, commissioners, coaches, and team contacts all voluntarily give of their time to ensure that our players have a great experience. Professional training is provided for parent Volunteer Coaches and Players through our partners at Resilient Volleyball Club. We allow people to co-coach with someone else if that option fits your schedule better. Coaches must be adults and pass a yearly background check to ensure the safety of our players. There is no fee to register to coach.
UNIFORMS: Team T-shirts will be provided. Parents are to provide black shorts, knee pads, socks, and court shoes.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Freshman/Sophomores: Volley Lite Ball; Juniors/Seniors: Regulation Ball
