WELCOME TO CFSA 2025 SPRING VOLLEYBALL SEASON

Our Spring Co-ed Volleyball program is for 2nd – 12th** grade (Spring 2025)
You may play up one grade, but you may not play down a grade.
This is a co-ed program, with the majority of players being girls. This is a parent volunteer coach program. Please consider volunteering to coach your child’s team.
There will be 8 practices and 6 games with a playoff game for top teams.
Possible Practice Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday
Game Days: Thursday or Friday between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
*Due to limited space at both the Den and CFISD-Saturday mornings may be utilized for practices/games*
There will be 8 practices and 6 games which will take place at either:
The Den (aka Sun Automotive) Sports Complex 17120 House & Hahl Rd, Cypress, TX 77433
OR
CFISD Middle School Gyms (TBD)
REGISTRATION DATES: Regular Registration - January 14 – February 27, 2025
Late Registration - February 28 - March 31, 2025 by on-line waitlist only. If no spot is available, you will be contacted and 100% refunded.
To register, you must be available for all scheduled practice days. Please note CFSA cannot guarantee approval of requests regarding days that you can practice. Practices days/times are up to your parent volunteer coach.

Spring assessments will be held for Junior and Senior divisions only, players without a coach.
SEASON DATES:
Assessments for Jr./Sr. players without a coach: Week of March 3 (location TBD)
Week of March 24, 2025 – Coaches receive team rosters with practice and game schedule
Coaches Clinic: March 31, 2025 – from 6:00-7:00 PM with a practice after for you to watch; for all new and returning coaches (location TBD)
Start season the week of March 25th - two practices the first week (Mon-Friday)
Games start the week of April 1st - one practice, one game per week.
April 15th - No volleyball
May 17th - End season playoffs for top teams

GAME DAYS/SCHEDULES: Game Days: Thursday or Friday between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Game Schedules are to be published the week of March 24, 2025.
PRACTICE SCHEDULES: Practice Days/Times are all SELECTED by the volunteer head coach assigned to your player’s team after registration, which will typically be weekday evenings between 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. There will be one game and one practice per week. You cannot register with limitations on days you can practice.
NOTIFICATION OF TEAM ASSIGNMENT: After registration closes, teams will be formed, and coaches assigned. Teams consist of 7-9 players. Once the coaches’ background checks have been completed, rosters will be released to your player’s coach who will reach out to you via e-mail, so please watch the e-mail listed in your child’s profile.
FRIEND/COACH REQUEST: You can request a friend or coach during the summer/fall/winter seasons, but CFSA cannot guarantee specific placement. The Volleyball Committee will do their best to accommodate, but in some cases, it is not possible.
COACHES REGISTRATION: Please consider volunteering to coach or help coach your child’s team! You can register as a Coach or Assistant Coach at the same time you register your child! CFSA is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization. Everyone from the President of our board, board members, commissioners, coaches, and team contacts all voluntarily give of their time to ensure that our players have a great experience. Professional training is provided for parent Volunteer Coaches and Players through our partners at Resilient Volleyball Club. We allow people to co-coach with someone else if that option fits your schedule better. Coaches must be adults and pass a yearly background check to ensure the safety of our players. There is no fee to register to coach.
UNIFORMS: Team T-shirts will be provided. Parents are to provide black shorts, knee pads, socks, and court shoes.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS: Freshman/Sophomores: Volley Lite Ball; Juniors/Seniors: Regulation Ball
