Practice Schedule:
Practice Days/Times/Locations are all determined by the volunteer head coach assigned to your team. Usually on weekday evenings or weekends near your home.
We limit all our sports to 3 events per week - that includes both games and practices.

Uniforms:  Jersey, hat and belt provided.  Please make sure you update your player's size on their profile when registering.

Team Formation:  Teams are formed by the CFISD school that your child attends.  If we have too many players from any school, a team of neighboring schools will be made.  This allows Coaches to facilitate practices in and/or around your area for convenience.  Friend request are allowed but they are NOT a guarantee.

Notification of Team Assignment:  After registration closes, teams will be formed and coaches assigned.  Once the coaches background checks are completed, rosters will be released and a parent coach will reach out to you via e-mail, so please watch your email.

Additional Information:
Please consider volunteering to coach your child's team!  CFSA is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization.  Everyone from the Board members, commissioners, coaches and team contacts all voluntarily give their time to ensure that our players have a great experience.  Our coaches are parents, family members, and/or family friends - most of which have full time jobs and busy lives - who make the time to coach, out of a love of their respective sport and their community.  We allow people to co-coach with someone else if that option fits your schedule better.  Coaches must be adults and pass a yearly background check.  You can register as a Coach, Assistant Coach or Team Manager at the same time you register your child.  (There is no charge to the adult to be Coach, Assistant Coach or Team Manager).  Should you have any questions about coaching please reach out to our baseball commissioner at baseball@cy-fairsports.org.

*Please familiarize yourself with our refund policy.

*Certain age division registrations may be closed prior to the last day of registration if it is determined that there will be any issues with forming teams for that particular division based on numbers.

Mission Statement

The goal of CFSA Baseball is to provide a place for our youth to learn the fundamentals of baseball and good sportsmanship. To achieve our goal, parents and coaches must work together to teach fielding, throwing, and hitting skills while instilling sportsmanlike attitudes and values such as honesty, fair play, and citizenship. Having a good attitude, winning and losing with dignity, respecting the official's decisions, playing by the rules, and giving maximum effort are equally as important as the development of solid baseball fundamental skills. Coaches, players, and parents are all expected to know and demonstrate the CFSA Fundamentals of Sportsmanship. It is the responsibility of all participants in the CFSA Baseball program to work towards achieving our goal.
